Miss Virginia USA 2017
Jacqueline Carroll is a graduate student at George Washington University where she is studying Forensic Psychology. Known as Jax on the court, she was a four-year collegiate volleyball player at West Virginia Tech where she captained the team for three seasons and lettered all four years. She was also given the prestigious honor of the Presidential Leadership Award for the college of business and humanities. She graduated Sum Cum Laude with her B.A. in Psychology and an emphasis in Biology.
Jacqueline works as a domestic violence and sexual assault hotline volunteer in her region of Fairfax County. When she is not manning the line or running from class to parade, she is a counselor at a residential treatment facility for eating disorders. Her goal in life is touch as many people as possible and that involves being a role model from start to finish.
Jacqueline will continue her work with the Grace Oughton Cancer Foundation and is elated to add new charities this year to her list of appearances. She will have the honor of working with Best Buddies, Special Olympics and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance this year as she works to spread her platform across the state of Virginia.
Jacqueline works to become the best version of herself she can be and continually strives to work with young girls by going into schools and engaging in speaking events to promote a confident lifestyle and safety awareness. This year she will be kicking off a school tour in the state of Virginia where she challenges students to be the best versions of them they can be!
